"We know that young children learn through their play. So we're growing the next thinkers and tinkerers of our time. This is bigger than the Children's Museum."
Tanya Andrews, Executive Director
The We Play! Capital Campaign is a $7 million effort to create a model place to play with all-new playscapes, support early learning through free community programming, and ensure access to all by eliminating the finacial barriers of admission.
We proudly opened the new Museum in January 2012, featuring play-inspiring playscapes and Pay As You Will admission. Play to Learn, our free, early learning program, is in nine locations throughout the county. We are supporting the important work of childhood---play!
A Place to Play = $4,000,00
Pay As You Will Fund = $1,000,000
Play to Learn Fund = $1,000,000
Readiness = $1,000,000
As we move forward with these activities, we are still seeking much needed capital campaign funding.
Please join us in supporting the power of play in the lifelong journey of learning.

With help from the community, the Museum can positively impact the social, emotional and cognitive abilities of our Pierce County children, families and communities for generations to come.
